This game also brings back the 5 strike system that the very first Ace Attorney game had. At first it’s okay, but the later seances do become annoying. One is the right moment of the vision, the specific sense, and the statement that Rayfa provided.
There’s also a larger margin of error as you need to pinpoint 3 things. Most of the seances that you’re looking at usually come down to why a person heard something they shouldn’t have.
There’s nothing fundamentally wrong with it, but there are some issues I have with it. This new mechanic was alright in my opinion. Our job as the attorney is to prove that there’s something wrong with Rayfa’s interpretation with what the victim’s last moments depict. Rayfa interprets the seances in her own words. The Divination Seance is the big new mechanic where we can see the victim’s last moments and their senses. We have Rayfa Padma Khura’in, the princess of the country, who performs the Divination Seance. Since this game introduces a whole new country we get a whole slew of new characters as well as some new mechanics. Spirit of Justice is another installment on the 3DS and introduces a whole new country of Khura’in and has an overarching story to it as well. One of them is Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice, which “sold largely as planned with sales supported by core users, in addition to fair digital download sales.” The company explains that during the first three months of the current Fiscal Year, it focused on minor titles (as opposed to the second half of the Fiscal Year, which is prioritised and therefore gets the bigger titles).
